"Sarajishvili" Extra is an exquisite Georgian cognac with a mild taste and a noble, mature character. It is made from distillates made on the basis of unique varieties of grapes grown in Georgia. The age of cognac spirits used in cognac production is 25 years. At the same time, all the distillates were exposed in oak barrels, due to which the drink acquired a refined, velvety taste and a charming aroma with notes of spices.
"Sarajishvili" is a premium brand cognac manufactured by Georgia's oldest alcoholic enterprise from the end of the 19th century. This drink was first introduced in 1887. It was named after Saradzhishvili David Zakharievich, who founded several cognac factories in the Russian Empire. The modern brandy "Sarajishvili" retained its individual character and authenticity, while significantly improving the quality.
It produces brandy "Saradzhishvili" from white grapes, which grows in Georgia. Studies have shown that local varieties of grapes in their qualities are very close to French. Alcohols for cognac are produced by double distillation and are kept in hand-made barrels made of Iberic oak. The minimum shelf-life of alcohols is 3 years, but in the cellars of the plant there are also very old alcohols dating back to the beginning of the 20th century.

In 1884, David Sarajishvili was created by the company for the production of cognac classic French way. By 1887, the plant and began production of the first batches of the product has already been built in Tbilisi. In subsequent years, the range of drinks produced by the young, rapidly expanding and includes not only the brandy, but also wine, vodka, liqueurs, rum, and even absinthe. At the same time increases the geography of sales and production of the Tbilisi Cognac Factory takes part in international exhibitions in Paris, Brussels, Chicago and other major cities. From 1889 to 1912 the plant received data competitions several gold medals, and "Supplier of His Imperial Majesty" was awarded the title in 1913.
Over the years the Tbilisi Cognac Factory on it was a collection of 500 thousand decalitres of years of cognac spirits and blended cognac, which are aged in oak barrels for 16 thousand. The plant is still kept cognac alcohol, smoked from the wine village of Digomi under the direct supervision of David Sarajishvili and laid down the deposit of more in 1893. In the alcohol storage land, which has created favorable conditions for maturing cognac spirits in oak barrels, stored, and "age" alcohols, dated 1905, 1915, 1918, 1925, 1932, 1941, and so on, almost without interruption.
Name David Sarajishvili was returned to the company in 1995 on the initiative of its new owner.
