Producer's description
The history of the Strizhament plant began in 1868, when Ivan Antonovich Alafuzov, a merchant of the First Guild, built the first distillery in Stavropol, then the main city of the North Caucasus. In the 20-30s of the XX century the plant was called "Stavropol distillery", then it became "Voroshilov Vodka Plant", and in 1953 it was named "Stavropol Alcoholic Beverage Plant of the North Caucasian Alcoholic Beverage Trust of Glavspirt of the Ministry of Light and Food Industry THE USSR".
It was an ordinary regional plant, radical changes occurred when Karlova Tamara Longinovna was appointed director of the plant in 1964, who managed to make it the most famous in the Soviet Union. Under her leadership, the Stavropol Distillery was equipped with the most modern equipment, and in 1977 a unique tincture "Strizhament" was created. First, on the instructions of M.S. Gorbachev for the 200th anniversary of Stavropol created a tincture called "Jubilee", the name of which, at the suggestion of T.L. Karlova was later changed to the sonorous "Strizhament" , and the new tincture became so popular that the distillery itself was renamed the "Strizhament" distillery. This name was known throughout the Soviet Union. The products have won nationwide popularity, right up to the highest echelons of power. The very name "Strizhament" is associated with the historical name of the mountain near Stavropol.
The remarkable history of the Strizhament trademark continues in our time. The famous liqueurs, balsams, liqueurs and vodkas of the plant are produced on modern equipment from fruits, berries and herbs collected in ecologically clean regions of the North Caucasus. The clean atmosphere of the protected areas and the wild growth of herbs exclude not only the use of chemical fertilizers, but also any other negative human intervention. The result of this process is the beverages that have received a bio-organic certificate.
