Wine of deep ruby red color.
The wine has a delicate flavor and open, decorated with silky tannins, a touch of black berries, slightly bitter chocolate and sustainable long aftertaste.
The aroma of wine reveals tones of black fruit, spice and light shades of chocolate.
The wine is recommended to serve with grilled red meat and game dishes, mushroom dishes and with a lot of spices.

"Alto" - the flagship of the economy "Alta Vista", rich, bright wine with excellent full-bodied flavor, great structure and beautiful, very attractive fragrant bouquet. Friendly Franco-Argentine team of winemakers has created this creation of two art wine grape varieties - Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, stressing thus, a strong union of two cultures Bodegas. They boldly joined in the "Alto" two symbolic class and the result exceeded all expectations. This is an excellent Argentine wine in the French style, aged 18 months in barrels of new French oak, is available in limited quantities and only when the harvest of high quality.
Vintage 2007, Mendoza was accompanied by heavy rainfall in the winter and cool in summer. Ripening was slowed somewhat, but it's in the future, the most favorable impact on the taste and aroma of wine.
Economy "Alta Vista", founded in the XIX century in Chacras de Coria, was originally a small wine cellar. In 1997, the famous French enologist Jean-Michel Arkott and Michel Rolland decided to implement an ambitious program to create a winery in Mendoza, producing great wines, combining bright originality of the local terroir and the age-old tradition of winemaking in France. With this project, they turned to family d'Olan - hereditary winemakers, owners of Chateau Chateau Valroz Sanson and in the French region of Bordeaux. Once upon a time, in the 70s, the family owned company also d'Olan "Piper Heidseick Champagne" for the production of sparkling wine in Argentina, so the rich terroir of this South American country they knew firsthand.
Today Bodegas "Alta Vista" is a large estate with its own winery where to create unique wines using modern technology and traditional methods. Vineyards stretch in a mountainous area, in the foothills and on the slopes of the majestic Andes at an altitude of over 1,000 meters above sea level. Such a good location, extremely dry climate, 10 solar months of the year - all to the Mendoza region qualify for the title of "healthy" corner of the planet. High temperature fluctuations between day and night allow the grapes to ripen perfectly. During the day, the vine collects the sun's rays and moisture, and at night their spending, which creates a balance between sugar content, acidity, tannins and pigments.
On extensive vineyards belonging farm cultivated autochthonous variety Torrontés and native French Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. The latter being so impressed climatic conditions and soil composition that Argentina became his second home. Unique find growers and winemakers bodegas can be called representative of Italian culture - Class Bonarda, from which there is absolutely create a magical wine.

The Alta Vista farm, founded in the 19th century in Chacras de Coria, was originally a small wine cellar. With this project they turned to the d'Olan family - hereditary winemakers, owners of Chateau Sansonnet and Chateau Valrose in the French region of Bordeaux. Once upon a time, in the 70s, the d'Olan family also owned the Piper Heidseick Champagne company for the production of sparkling wine in Argentina, so they knew firsthand about the rich terroir of this South American country.
