Interesting Facts
Alberto di Grezù, the founder of the winery, a native of Piedmont. Most of the time he spent at the family villa surrounded by vineyards, Julia, on the hill of Monte Aribaldo. Love for the land and the wine was brought up in it since childhood. And when he graduated from the University of Milan and received a MBA, performing their duty to their parents, the choice he made in favor of winemaking. In a noble family di Grezù since the XVIII century had its own vineyards, but they did not make wine, grapes close-selling homes in the region. In 1973, Alberto created his first wine, and from that moment begins the story of the wine house Marchesi di Gresy. To date, the Marchesi di Grezù farm includes three estates on the territory of the Langhe and Monferrato. It gained worldwide fame as one of the best producers of Barbaresco from research in innovative style with vineyard crew, highly acclaimed by international wine critics.
