The wine is bright red.
The wine has a flavor with hints of raspberry and licorice and perfectly balanced with soft tannins.
The wine has a scent with notes of ripe plums, black berries, violets and exotic flowers. The presence of a light shade of toast says a brief aging in oak.
Wine complements grilled meats, grilled meats and game, and goes well with cheese.
Interesting Facts
Agriculture Bodegas Palacios Remondo Jose Palacios was created and is still managed by his heirs. The winery has long abandoned the use of raw materials and purchased grapes from its own vineyards only 100 hectares planted back in the 1960s on the southern slopes of the hills in the heart of the sub-region Rioja Baja. Thus, the family Palacios, having at hand the old vine Tempranillo clones tested and Garnacha, could his very first vintage in 2000 to make a turning point for the history of the winery. Guide winery recently passed to Rafael Palacios, professional enologist already established by the time one of the best white wines of Rioja varieties Viura - Placet. Everything else, Rafael translated farms into organic winemaking, thus further increasing the demand for new classic Rioja.
Vendimia - versatile wine. It is best to use it during the first two years after bottling to fully enjoy the delicate aroma and berry taste.
