Wine of intense dark red color with purple hues.
The taste of wine is elegant and smooth, full, with good texture, strong fruity attack.
In the rich aroma of wine tones of dark fruit, ripe cherry, plum, spicy notes and nuances of oak.
The wine goes well with lean red meat, white meat, duck in blackberry sauce with vegetables.
Interesting Facts
Vineyards with Merlot are located along the northern edge of the Rapel Valley. They landed on the southern slopes of the ridges. The climate is relatively warm, the nearby river gives a cooling effect. Crop, harvested by hand from 1 to 11 April, it turns fully ripe, with soft and silky tannins. After careful selection fermented grape small stainless steel containers for 7-10 days, skin maceration lasts for 7 to 14 days. Wine is aged 12 months in barrels, of which 70% were French oak and 30% - American oak barrels. Ageing potential fault - at least 5 years.
Wine "Merlot Reserva 2008" received the silver medal at the Sommelier Wine Awards 2010.
