Wine "Valdivieso Eclat Botrytis Semillon" produced from botrytised Semillon grapes grown in the vineyard Lontue and collected in late autumn. Botritizatsii sense is that the late harvest grapes under certain climatic conditions affected microscopic fungus called "Botrytis Cinerea". Wine from botrytised grapes is considered among the most valuable natural sweet white wines. Especially the production of these wines is the fact that the weather and climatic conditions do not always allow the grapes to ripen to the desired condition, so the production of wine is limited and does not guarantee the annual production.
Wine "Valdivieso Eclat Botrytis Semillon 2007" was recognized as the best in the group "Late Harvest" and won the Late Harvest Trophy at the eighth annual contest "Wines of Chile Awards".
