Tasting Notes
The wine is a pale golden color.
The taste of the wine sweet, moderately fresh, echoing the fragrance notes of candy, peach, honey, lychee and mango, to which are added shades of pear, white currants and apricots. The finish is short, with nuances of candy and a slight bitterness.
Elegant, fresh aroma of the wine is filled with hints of flowers (acacia, jasmine, blooming citrus) and fruit (mango, lychee, peach), candies and honey nuances.
The wine can be combined with salads, appetizers, cheeses, fruit, white meat, poultry.

Producer's description
Wines from Recas - zone as part of the wine region of Banat in the south-west of Romania, which is part of the historical territory of Transylvania - known since time immemorial. No wonder the ancient legend has it that his young god of wine Bacchus years spent in these parts. The first official mention of the viticulture in the Banat refer to the beginning of our era, when the Romans managed to win the favor of the state is an ancient Dacia. With regard to the Recas vineyards, then there is mention of them in documents from 1447. Company Cramele Recaş launched its wines in 2006. The joint British-Romanian company during the past decade has done a great job for reorganization of its vineyards and the conversion of its production. Currently, the winery meets the highest requirements of the modern world of winemaking. Chief winemaker economy is the Englishman Philip Cox, who led a team of oenologists from Romania, Britain, Australia, Spain, South Africa and Italy. His chief assistants - Hartley Smithers from Australia and Nora Iraite from Spain - supervised production of wine (from the vineyard to the bottle) with a fanatical attention to detail. In keeping with the company's philosophy on the application of the absolute best methods of production for each wine to ensure a consistently high quality of grapes and production, and Nora Hartley changed all production methods towards the use of new and better ways.
