"Aliwen" Cabernet Sauvignon / Syrah Reserva - a delicious, well-balanced wine is created from a blend of two grape varieties - Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) and Syrah (40%). Crop is harvested by hand, then the berries are carefully selected and crushed. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks, which are loaded with up to 80% to increase the contact area with the skin of the juice. After malolactic fermentation, each variety separately aged for 9 months in barrels of American and French oak. Wine is mixed so as to achieve a perfect balance between the two varieties.

Producer's description
The founder of the economy is Don Francisco Undurraga Undurraga - one of the pioneers of the Chilean wine industry. In 1882 he bought a property in Talagante and immediately engaged in planting vines that had brought from Germany and France. French oenologist, Mr. Pressac, personally supervised the planting of vines and their further development. Over the years the company has successfully develop and expand the market of its customers. In 1903, the first batch of wine was exported to the US, and to date production facilities "Undurraga" is known in more than 60 countries around the world.
The company is expanding its area of vineyards for the production of the best raw material. Favorable climatic conditions have a positive effect on the growth of grapes, berries providing juiciness, good structure and expressive aroma. Recently, the factory has been completely renovated and modernized bottling line cellars.
