Staglin Family Vineyard - a family company, founded in 1985, Shari, Garen, Brandon and Shannon Steglin. Located at the foot of the western slopes of Mount St. John, near the highest mountain ridge Mayakamas, farm covers an area of 61 acre. The rich soil of volcanic rocks, excellent climate and convenient location made the vineyards terroir ideal for growing grapes. It is noticed even the first settlers arrived in the Napa Valley in 1860, and who planted the first vines here. On the estate preserved ancient building, which dates back to 1864 year. In it, according to historical information, Stacker lived John and his wife, Marie, who is considered one of the first settlers of Napa Valley. Later the house, as well as the whole estate was sold and changed a few owners. So, in 1963, his family purchased Sullivan, was related to the famous French winemakers - Latour family. In 1985, the vineyards, and in 2007 - and a main homestead farm family gets Steglin, which has pledged continuing the tradition of winemaking here, begins development of its own business of producing wine. At the family winery Steglin practiced organic methods of viticulture, and all products are certified.
