Staforte 2006 well balanced and has a complex bouquet, which is dominated by floral and mineral tones, complemented by light tones of vanilla. The finish is long, refreshing.
Aroma
Slim, elegant aroma reveals notes of vanilla, hints of medlar and herbs.
Gastronomy
The wine goes well with oysters and asparagus, as well as dishes like risotto with mushrooms, pasta with truffles, paella and fish on the coals.
Interesting Facts
The farm Pra owns only 10 hectares of vineyards, but it has a considerable reputation. Glorified Pra, mainly the invention of one of the brothers Pra new system tying grapes "Pergoletta". This system has been legally incorporated in the rules for the production of wines of Soave DOCG category as an alternative to the old system. To continually improve the quality of wines in the company use only organic fertilizers and constantly experimenting, limiting yield vines.
Staforte 2006 is proudly Pra, as for the creation of this excellent wine was synthesized all the experience gained since the founding of the company. For manufacturing Staforte uses only the finest grapes Garganega, which, thanks to the secrets of the culture as much as possible reflects the terroir. It is due to volcanic soil in the bouquet of wine pronounced mineral nuances, which Staforte easily distinguished from other Italian wines. For the production of Staforte used only the first pressing juice that is fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks at a temperature of 16-18C. After the end of the primary fermentation, the wine undergoes a secondary fermentation using lactic acid bacteria, which gives the wine a soft and balanced taste. Additional complexity Staforte gets underway exposure not only in oak barrels, and bottled after a fine balance allows the wine to develop for a long time. In particular Staforte 2006 is best consumed between 2010 and 2014.
