Salmon-colored wine, with fine pearly bubbles.
Taste wine elegant, perfectly balanced, with elegant acidity, full of rich tones of fresh fruit.
The aroma of wine is dominated by shades of rose petals and red berries.
The wine goes well with a variety of Chinese and Thai dishes, seafood salad, fruit salad with red fruits and berries, sushi, shellfish and smoked salmon.
Harvesting is done by hand in the second half of January to mid-February, with careful sorting and removal of damaged berries. The collected berries are gently squeezed with special presses.
Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose 2007 won a bronze medal in the "Veritas 2009".
Simonsig wine estate owner, located in the northwestern part of Stellenbosch, is family Malan. The estate noble grape varieties are cultivated and produced some of the best wines of South Africa. The estate is famous for its red and white wines, and sparkling wines, champagne-producing method. The vineyards of the estate are located at the foot of Simons and cover an area of over 300 hectares. The company is one of the largest private wine producers in South Africa.
