Producer's description

In the Chiarlo family, winemaking is a family business; today, in the person of Michele Chiarlo, it is continued by the fifth generation. Michele studied not only from older generations, he received a diploma in oenology. In 1956, Michele Chiaro founded the Wine House and began to expand the family territory. His vineyards today occupy 110 hectares - part of the land is owned, part is taken on long-term lease. Michele not only preserves the traditions of winemaking, but also develops and introduces his own methods: he developed a unique sterile bottling system and changed the method of storing wine. In the vineyards of Chiarlo, a very careful attitude towards the vines is practiced, grapes are harvested by hand, and only organic fertilizers are used. All this gives an excellent result - world-famous wines and consistently high marks from specialists.

The main principle of the House of Michele Chiarlo is to produce a relatively small amount of wine, using only the best grapes for its production, and also strictly control the entire winemaking process, using only the most modern and unique technologies. Despite the high cost of this method of wine production, Michele Chiarlo achieved what he wanted: his wines, thanks to their highest quality, are today on a par with the most famous Italian and world wine brands.
