"RhonSprudel" Medium - low-carbonated water with soft mineralization. It contains 2.9 mg / l sodium, which provides a harmonious, delicate taste. Water "RenShudel" is extracted from the source from the deep layers of volcanic rocks of the active volcano Rhön. The source is located in the reserve, it was described by a physician Ignatius Weikard in 1781. He drew attention to the excellent quality of local water and began pouring it into the pitchers that he supplied to his patients. Since 1895, the water "RenShudel" has been poured into glass bottles. The last 100 years the spring belongs to the family of Shindel, owners of the company RhonSprudel Gruppe.
RhonSprudel Gruppe is a family business, a large regional beverage company headquartered in Ebersburg-Weyers (East Hesse). This family business began in 1895, when the water from the source RyonShprudel was first bottled in glass bottles, and the brand "RhonSprudel" - registered in the patent office. In 1911, the great-grandfather of the current owner of the company, Philippe Schindel, completely redeemed the rights to develop the source from the local community. So the company was founded, which in those days was called Mineralbrunnen Rhon-Sprudel.
In 1948, the plant, which lies in the post-war ruins, was rebuilt by Ernst Schindel. In 1977, a biological wastewater treatment plant was built at the plant. In 1991, the area around the Ryon volcano was declared a reserve. In 2015, the company's director was Christian, a representative of the fourth generation of the family Shindel. The company owns the brands "RhonSprudel", "Bad Liebenwerda", "SpreeQuell" and "Bauer Fruchtsafte". RenaShprudel Group not only produces water and drinks, but also actively sponsors environmental activities.
