Producer's description
RhonSprudel Gruppe is a family business, a large regional beverage company headquartered in Ebersburg-Weyers (East Hesse). This family business began in 1895, when the water from the source RyonShprudel was first bottled in glass bottles, and the brand "RhonSprudel" - registered in the patent office. In 1911, the great-grandfather of the current owner of the company, Philippe Schindel, completely redeemed the rights to develop the source from the local community. So the company was founded, which in those days was called Mineralbrunnen Rhon-Sprudel.
In 1948, the plant, which lies in the post-war ruins, was rebuilt by Ernst Schindel. In 1977, a biological wastewater treatment plant was built at the plant. In 1991, the area around the Ryon volcano was declared a reserve. In 2015, the company's director was Christian, a representative of the fourth generation of the family Shindel. The company owns the brands "RhonSprudel", "Bad Liebenwerda", "SpreeQuell" and "Bauer Fruchtsafte". RenaShprudel Group not only produces water and drinks, but also actively sponsors environmental activities.
