Interesting Facts
For the production of Puligny-Montrachet Le Tremblay used grapes from the vineyard with a total area 0.90 ha. The soil is clay-calcareous, south-eastern exposure. The vines are old, aged 40-70 years. Hand harvesting grapes, grape more gently pressed in a pneumatic press, fermentation takes place under strictly controlled temperatures, followed by aging in oak barrels (30% of which are new) for 17 months.
