The company was founded Ruggeri Giustino BIZOL in 1950, whose family was proud of the rich tradition of winemaking in the region Valdobyaden. It is known that the family BIZOL grow grapes from 1542. In 1920, the oenologist Luigi BIZOL built a winery in Montebelluna, and in 1950 the son of Luigi, Giustino BIZOL, founded the winery Ruggeri and began producing sparkling wines from Prosecco and Cartizze.
