Wine Pouilly-Fume "Baron de L", 2006
Tasting Notes
Pale gold color with a slight green tint.
El Baron de Pouilly-Fyume 2006 perfectly balanced between roundness and firmness of fruit notes of mineral shades. The delightful bouquet in the foreground reveals fresh notes of tropical and citrus fruits, as well as the nuances of butter cream, which dilutes the tones of white asparagus, thyme and minerals in a surprisingly long and elegant finish.
Thin, fragrant aroma captivates fruity notes of pear and white peach, who were later joined by more restrained shades of fragrant herbs, beeswax and silicon.
The wine goes well with such gourmet French cuisine as foie gras, Burgundy snails, oysters, champagne, white veal and lobster in orange sauce.
