Interesting Facts
Tua Rita - this winery Rita Tua and Virgilio Bisti, who in 1984 bought the estate and vineyards. The winery is located in Notri in Suvereto, situated at an altitude of 100 meters above sea level. Land is of medium texture, clay, rich in trace elements such as iron and zinc, which are saturated with wine minerality. The climate in Suvereto favorable and warm. First grade, which was put in Tua Rita, were Merlot and Cabernet, of which in 1992 was born the "first fruits" farming - "Giusto di Notri". This is the fault of instantly started talking in Italian and international press, considering its depth and structure. Next wine - "Redigaffi" - was created without the mixing of varieties and was the first Italian wine, received from Robert Parker's rating of 100/100 points for the vintage of 2000. Today Tua Rita stretches for 50 hectares, of which 30 hectares are vineyards. Production is 110,000 bottles a year, the lineup consists of five red and two white wines. They are exported to 55 countries.
The grapes for "Perlato del Bosco" is assembled by hand at the end of August. "Perlato del Bosco" vinified in a truncated conical steel vats for a month and up to 18 months of bottling stored in basements.
