At the beginning of the XX century by Francesco Ardzhiolas planted his first vines, laying the foundation for the future of a large family farm. But really famous and important Ardzhiolas made his son Francesco - Antonio, born in 1906, and, over time, continuing his father's work. Later, Antonio says, "I did everything. He was a gardener, farmer, salesman. I started from scratch, put everything on the four hectares of vineyards and lived with the idea that every year I can put a few acres of vineyards." All profits from the vineyards Antonio invested in development. So there were cellars, mill and even a small dairy products. He worked constantly, even during the war. More than seventy years Ardzhiolas Antonio was led by the company. As a legacy to their children and grandchildren, he left a prestigious farm, which currently has 30 hectares of vineyards and olive groves, and the relationship between tradition and innovation. Today, the fourth generation continues the work of Antonio, demonstrating what they have learned their great grandfather - dedication, perseverance, passion for the land and the idea: to bring the world of tastes and flavors of the island called Sardinia.
In the 70s of the last century owners Ardzhiolas invited to cooperate beautiful enologist - Giacomo Takis, who is called "the father of a new renaissance of Italian wine." Thanks to its unique knowledge and combination of traditional winemaking methods and modern technologies, today the company produces wine of the highest quality, as evidenced by numerous awards.
