The taste of wine is thin, well balanced, with velvety tannins, light acidity and pleasant fruit and berry notes.
The wine has a bright fruity and berry aroma with a predominance of cherry and crimson shades.

Jean-Maurice Raffault, Chinon AOC Rouge is a delicate, well-balanced wine with attractive fruit notes in taste and aroma, which are particularly well-developed when lightly cooling the wine. Chinon Rouge quickly ripens, so you can drink it at an early age.
Grapes for wine production are grown on sites along the river of Vienna and characterized by sandy and superficial soils. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks, after which the wine is aged in steel vats for 6 months.
Producer's description
Domaine Olga Raffault Manor is located in Véron, between the Loire and Vienna. For four generations, the Raffo family grows grapes and produces charming wines. The total area of vineyards is 24 hectares, organic methods of cultivating the vine without the use of pesticides and herbicides are used on them.
After Pierre Raffo passed away in 1947, his wife, Olga, remained with two young children, she could not but continue her husband's business. For many years she continued the family business, putting all his soul and strength into him. Today, the estate is managed by Olga's granddaughter, Sylvie Raffo, with her husband, Eric de la Viguri. In the production of wines, they also adhere to traditional methods, skillfully combining them with modern innovative technologies.
