Interesting Facts

When you create a wine Moscato d`Asti used Muscat grapes grown near the villages Treyzo and Madonna di Como. Pio Cesare family pride is a small amount of nutmeg old vines, which are also involved in the assemblage Moscato d`Asti. In the manufacture of wine berries are soft pressed, then performed a partial fermentation in stainless steel vats. After fermentation, the wine is immediately bottled. Moscato d`Asti produced in very limited quantities.

Winery Pio Cerase was founded in 1881 in Piedmont on the site of the old stables and is named after its founder. For its wines of Pio Cesare use only the best grapes that are grown without the use of any fertilizers, mainly in the south-eastern part of the region.
