The farm Measure Davina performed exclusively organic farming, the yield of vineyards is maintained very low - only 25 hl per hectare. Yield 40-year-old vines are harvested by hand at the beginning of September. After soft pressing berries fermented in oak barrels at a controlled temperature for 25 days. Exposure of wine takes place in French oak barrels for the 2nd filling over 10 months and the wine spends 2 months in the bottle. Before bottling the wine lends itself to easy filtration. In 2013, it produced only 1600 bottles of wine "Friulano".
Meroi Davino - a family business located in the heart of the wine region of Friuli Colli Orentali, in the municipality of Boutroux. At the end of the 1980s, the third generation winemaker Paolo Measure inherited the estate from his father and, together with his son, Damiano continued production of wine. Products winery has long won popularity among connoisseurs and experts, due to the high quality and unique style. Paolo Measure not only produces wine, but with his wife working in their own restaurant "Al Parco", located in the center of Boutroux. This well-known restaurant in the north-eastern part of Italy and Paolo are implementing major part (80%) produced by beverage. The remaining wine is sold to private collectors in Europe and the US. Annual production of wine is very small - only 30,000 bottles.
Measure family owns 35 hectares of vineyards, grown on the picturesque slopes of Friuli, of which 12 hectares - are areas where crops are already used in the manufacture of wine, and the rest - are areas where crops are grown younger in the future. Historical region of Friuli - a wonderful place that is as Côte de Beaune in France, is capable of producing world-class wines.
