Tasting Notes
The wine is pale yellow with golden patches of light.
The wine has a refreshing, dynamic, vivid taste, in which the accents of a ripe apple and the nuances of citrus fruits are beautifully combined with gentle halftones of white flowers against a background of harmonious acidity. Pleasant aftertaste with exquisite mineral haze.
The aroma of wine is dominated by floral hues, adorned with notes of apples and fresh semitones of lemon.
Wine can be served as an aperitif or complemented with seafood dishes, fried fish, fresh vegetables.
Interesting Facts
The white semi-dry wine Pravis, Kerner, the creators themselves call "bold", based not only on its rich taste and dynamic character, but also on the complex, "almost extreme", according to the masters of Pravis, the conditions in which Kerner's grapes . The sites are located at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level, such a dislocation provides the area with a tangible difference between day and night temperatures. Rocky soils are rich in calcium and magnesium carbonates, which allows future wine to acquire expressive minerality and freshness.
After harvesting, the berries are subjected to short cold maceration and soft pressing. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine lasts for five months, after which it is bottled. Pravis, Kerner is ideally combined with dishes from sea and river fish and is excellent as an aperitif.

Castelfeder The company was opened in 1970 by Alphonse Giovanetti. At that time, he led the newly restored wine school in San Michele Al'Adidzhe. A small enterprise is located in the town of Enya in the south of Alto Adige and engaged in the cultivation of vine varieties Lagreyn, Pinot Noir and Schiavo.
After 19 years after the founding of the son of Alfonso Gunter Giovanetti he took over the reins. He suffered a production of Cortina and has acquired the vineyards in the surrounding area. In collaboration with local manufacturers Kastelfeder has become one of the largest wineries in the region.
Now Castelfeder continues to be under the direction of Gunther and his wife Alessandra.
