Wine saturated straw-yellow color with emerald reflections.
The wine has a balanced flavor with balanced acidity, hints of white plums, honey and exotic fruits. Long finish with a hint of citrus.
The wine has a delicate floral aroma with notes of minerals, orange flowers, fresh earth and lemon peel.
The wine goes well with a variety of dishes, and is also an excellent aperitif.
In 1967 he was recognized as Lugana DOC area, one of the first of such zones in Italy. Today, in this region produced high-quality wines from grapes Trebbiano di Lugana. This variety is widespread in Italy, since it is well adapted to the local climate and soils.
The village of San Benedetto is located between Desenzano del Garda and Pekera. The vineyard is located at an altitude of 60-80 meters above sea level. Trebbiano di Lugana harvested by hand in late September - early October. Fermentation takes place in the steel at a temperature 18-20C.
Wine Lugana DOC San Benedetto in 2007 received a bronze medal at the London Wine Challenge International Wine Challenge. In 2006 Decanter magazine noted his silver medal at the International Wine Challenge.
