Interesting Facts
"Tout Un Monde" - a rich, ripe, but very fresh wine with mineral and berry shades in taste and aroma. The wine is made from the Mondoz Nuar grape, which is grown exclusively in the Savoie department. Vintage wine is harvested by hand from very old 100-year-old vines planted by the grandfather of the current owner, also called Louis Manyan. The vineyard has unique red clay soils interspersed with limestone. At the winery, fruits are separated from the ridges and fermented in stainless steel vats for 15 days. For aging wine for 18-24 months, 600-liter oak barriques are used. "Here Un Monde" is produced in extremely small quantities, not exceeding 2,600 bottles.
Producer's description
Domain Louis Magnin - a small family-owned winery of 8 hectares, located in the commune of Arbin, in the valley of Combe de Savoie (Savoie department). Since 2010, the domain introduced biodynamic viticulture, and in 2012 the winery was certified in the field of organic farming. In the vineyards of the company, the autochthonous Mondoz Noir grapes are mainly cultivated, and the vines of the varieties Game, Altes and Russan are also grown. Currently, the farm is managed by Louis Manyan and his wife Beatrice. Careful work in the vineyard and winery, the scrupulousness and perfectionism of the owners make it possible to achieve constant quality every year, which only a few producers in this region manage to achieve. The wines of the Domain of Louis Manien are well aged, have a high density and complex aroma.
