Wine Langenlois Zweigelt create the most widespread in Austria Zweigelt varieties grown biodynamic method, as well as other varieties of farm Loimer. Crop harvested in early October, after compaction must macerated for three weeks and fermented in steel tanks one week. Matured wine in large oak barrels. The potential for storing wine is 10-30 years. Langenlois Zweigelt has excellent drinkability and blends well with most meat dishes, appetizers and pasta.
Born into a family of winemakers, Fred Loimer Jr. immediately decided to continue the family tradition. After study and work abroad, he returned to his father's winery, to use their knowledge in the production of wine. In 1998, a year after the management of the economy fell into the hands of Fred Jr., he acquired the historic vaulted brick cellar, a former cellar Haindorf Castle. With the help of the architect Andreas Burghardt Fred Loymer renovated basement, adding on top of a building in a minimalist style, which serves as an office and a tasting room.
Since 1999, wine farms Loimer stored in the historic cellar in perfect, natural temperature conditions. In addition, the grape varieties Riesling and Vetlinger with individual sites are ranked among the best wines of Austria and the world.
