Chateau Ferriere - this is probably the smallest economy in the Medoc and its vineyards occupy only 8 hectares. Chateau got its name by the name of the merchant, who owned this Château in the XVIII century - Gabriel Ferrier, a relative who was mayor of Bordeaux. Throughout its history from the XVIII to XX century it belonged to only two families. It has consistently Bordeaux, especially taking into account the invasion of phylloxera, the economic crisis and the two world wars that occurred during this time. The fact that the Chateau Ferrier is one of the smallest farms in the Medoc, gives us the full right to be called wine Chateau Ferrier rare wines.
