Interesting Facts

For the manufacture of dry white wine "Le Petit Chat Malin" Blanc manufacturer uses grapes varieties Grenache Blanc, Marsan and Roussant collected and vinified in southern France. After harvesting the grapes are transported to the winery, where they are subjected to sorting, pressing and cold fermentation. Malolactic fermentation is blocked, which allows you to maintain a sufficient level of acidity in taste. Wine is created under the guidance of winemakers, Samantha Bailey and Guillaume Letanga. Due to its refreshing character, the wine perfectly complements seafood and snacks.

Producer's description

The British company Boutinot, founded in 1980, is one of the world's leading distributors of quality wines. The company's portfolio includes more than 1400 wines, and the annual sales volume of 44 million bottles. The company's founder is Paul Boutin, the son of a successful British restaurateur, who took over from his father a passion for good food and good wines. The instability of the quality wines delivered to the restaurant of his father, led Paul to go to France to find quality supplier of inexpensive wines. After some time, the restaurateurs in the northwest of England began to ask Paul for help in finding suppliers, and that led him to create his own company. And in order to be fully confident in the quality of supplied wines and control the entire production process, Paul has created its own winery. One of the first was founded in 1989 in the Beaujolais region, in 1993 opened a winery in South Africa.

Pride of Butina - Rhone wines, which have been completely re-created with organic wine-making practices of the past. The entire crop is harvested manually at the peak of its maturity. Fermentation of whole clusters and a strong constraint yields much different wine estates of the products of many other Rhone wineries that aspire to the greater quantity than quality. Fermentation takes place in open tanks, pizhazh performed manually and pressing takes place in the old basket-presses, which are most often used for pressing olives. The fermentation process uses only pure natural yeast and only 600-liter barriques. For monovillyazhnyh the choicest wines used barrels, which reduces the volume of production of these wines. All this creates a subtle and elegant wine with beautifully integrated oak nuances.
