"Le Macchiole" Rosso - this is a wine that perfectly reflects the combination of international and local grape varieties with characteristics of the terroir of Tuscany. Wines Le Makkiole are renowned for their excellent quality and have earned recognition in many countries of the world, but they are manufactured in strictly limited quantities. Vineyards, which grow red grapes for "Le Makkiole", located on the sandy soils interspersed with lime. Typically, the grapes are harvested from the first to the third week of September. Wine fermentation and maceration tested at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Then the wine is aged for 6 months in French oak barrels for a volume of 225 liters.
Le Makkiole economy is in the heart of Bolgheri, about five kilometers from the sea.
