Tasting Notes
Wine maroon.
At first acquaintance with wine discern shades of raspberry jam, rose petals and black licorice, followed by a more distinct mineral and spicy taste.
Bright fruit and floral notes in this wine contrasted with darker, more serious basis.
The wine goes well with grilled lamb, coq au vin, venison dishes with Provencal herbs, steak and salmon on the grill.
Interesting Facts
Bonnie Doon Vineyards manufacturer Wynyard located in California, whose climate and soil resemble Sredizemnorskoe coast than Bordeaux or Burgundy. Production owns Randall Graham, known for his unusual biography and non-trivial approach to winemaking. As a student, he started an apprenticeship Graham harvest wine warehouse, where he tried a variety of unique French wines. Obsessed with the idea to make the best American wine from Pinot Noir, it acquires land in the mountains of Santa Cruz, which local nicknamed Bonnie Doon.
