Latium Morini, Soave DOC, 2014 - young and very elegant white wine with a fresh, expressive varietal aroma and balanced, harmonious taste. The blend is dominated by wine grapes Garganega (80%), which provides a structure brings fruit theme with hints of citrus, peach and apricot and forms the mineral character of the wine. Complements blend grapes Trebbiano di Soave (20%), which gives a special flavor of the drink. The grapes for making wine is collected from 25-30 year old vines grown in vineyards in Mezzine at an altitude of 200 meters above sea level. For more than 40 years have passed since then, the family founded the winery: a small, unpretentious, but supported enthusiastically. Until recently, she was a member of the local wine cooperative. To date, 7 brothers and cousins, inherited the farm to take his improvement and expansion. Great passion for growing grapes has led to the creation of Lazio Morini and now is producing excellent wines of Soave, Valpolicella and Amarone, whose generosity is deeply rooted in its past, its history.

The origins of the settlement originated among the ancient Romans, who were looking for conquering new land conditions and environment for growing grapes, olives and fruit trees. Locals were quick to call them "Latii or Lazio", pointing out that they were "strangers, foreigners." And when after two thousand years of work, plowing the field find here a few worn stones of the time, it served as a testament to the great history and a great heritage of this region. And the name of "Lazio" reminds all who appreciate good wine, that the roots of the history of ancient and noble, as well as ancient and noble wines offered by true connoisseurs and gourmets.

In 1992, the Morini family bought a house in the historical center of Val di Mezzane, built in the early 1900s, surrounded by magnificent vineyards. This quiet neighborhood built a new winery and cellars for maturing wine. Today, the modern and functional factory produces 3,000 quintals of wine a year, thanks to the 5-modern and fully automated vats with a capacity of 150 c, which reduce the oxidation of the wine of the future to a minimum.
