Koyle - a new project Undurraga family, whose roots date back to 1885. In 2006, the brand sold Undurraga and vineyards, but they were not willing to give up wine. Alfonso Undurraga with his sons began to look for new terroir for growing grapes for the production of high-quality red wines. After traveling and analysis of the various sectors and valleys of Chile, they stopped at Los Lingues in Colchagua Valley. Climatic and soil characteristics of the terroir were key factors in finding the optimal location for the cultivation of vines. My lovely house with vineyard they called Koyle, in honor of the beautiful, endangered, indigenous plants. In 2006-2007, Alfonso and his sons planted 50 hectares of grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Malbec, Carmenere, Tempranillo, Petit Verdot and Murveder, and in 2010 another 30 hectares with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Grenache, Sangiovese and Carignano.

Coyle vineyards are located in the highest point of the Andes, their soils consist mainly of poor stony soils based on clay, which are cooled by mountain winds. Vintage vinified in small batches for better extraction of aromas and flavors, and then pass the wine aged in French oak barrels.
