Whisky John Walker & Son's, Private Collection, 2016, 0.7 L
Whiskey deep amber color with a golden ebb.
The taste of whiskey is deep and balanced, has a soft, creamy texture, intoxicating honey tones, gradually replaced by sweetish hints of wood and vanilla. As it opens, soft and warm fruit notes of pear and apple appear in the taste.
The aromatic bouquet of whiskey reveals attractive honey tones, fruit notes, nuances of flowers and cereals.
Whiskey is excellent in itself, as a digestif, as well as paired with a fragrant cigar.
The 2016 edition is entirely devoted to the delicate art of balancing honey shades and fruit notes in flavor. Kupazhist company, Jim Beveridge, chose more than 100 barrels of rare single-grain Scotch whiskey to create John Walker & Son, Private Collection, 2016 . The main task for the master was to achieve a unique style of whiskey, in the taste and aroma of which the nuances of vanilla, honey and wood could be traced. Highland Single Malt whiskey from experimental barrels was also added to the blend. After aging, the whiskey was poured into 8888 bottles, each of which is assigned its own personal number.
Johnny Walker is one of the most legendary brands in the world of whiskey, whose history goes back almost one and a half centuries. The family business began with the opening of a tea shop in the town of Kilmarnock and tea blending. As a result, it turned into a mastery of mixing alcohols, transmitted by inheritance, and the creation of stunning whiskey. To date, the company produces about 120 million bottles of whiskey per year, which are successfully sold in different countries.
