Wine «W ... Dreams ...» - a work of art that will appeal to true connoisseurs of Chardonnay, as well as the fans of Bono and U2. After all, this wine was named in honor of the album U2 «Joshua Tree» ("The Joshua Tree", 1987), namely the song "Where the streets have no names» ("Where the streets have no name"). «W ... Dreams ...» was first created from the grape harvest in 1987 and for several years it has undergone a number of name changes. In the first nine years, it was called "Where dreams do not end» ("Where the Dreams have no end ..."), and the color of the primer changes with each new vintage. The label placed next image counterclockwise rainbow colors, complemented by white and black, and shows the 4 phases of the moon. In 1996 the name "dreams were now just wine!» («Were Dreams, now it is just wine!») With a blue capsule, which was placed a stylized image of comet Hale-Bopp. In this garb wine lasted the next seven years. Finally, in 2003 the producers decided to go back to basics, changed its name to "W ... Dreams ..." and add the image of Mars, indicating the vintage year on the primer. What is meant by an ellipsis in the title? Producers themselves interpret it as "where dreams come true» ("Where Dreams can happen"), but give everyone the opportunity to invest in this concept anything.
It all started in 1881 when Anton Jermann - praprapradeda Silvio Yermana, founder of Jermann - left the Austrian wine region of Burgenland, and later the vineyards of Slovenia, to take root in the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Here, in the small village of Villanova di Farra, he founded his family winery. And in 1970, Silvio Jermann made a real revolution in winemaking. Friuli - a region located in the north of Italy and borders with Slovenia, has always had a reputation manufacturer of light aromatic white wines that are easy to drink, but not of particular interest outside the region. Silvio Jermann was the one who forever changed this view. He is deservedly considered a true artist in the wine industry in the region. Silvio brought us incredible success and worldwide fame. Today owning farms Jermann stretches over 150 hectares of land, of which 130 hectares are vineyards, while the remaining 20 are given under cereal crops grown for the production of organic flour.
