The story of one of the most famous Australian wine companies - Hardys - began in 1850. It was then, after a long sea voyage on Australian soil stepped young Englishman Thomas Hardy. At first, he engaged in the supply of meat to the gold mines and the rich on this, and in 1853 set up his first vineyard in McLaren Vale. At that time Thomas had no idea that would be the "father of South Australian wine industry." Starting his business with only 1.2 hectares of land, by the beginning of the XX century Englishman became the owner of the largest wineries in Australia. Thanks to the pursuit of the ideal and the use of the best technology in the production of wine, as well as compliance with strict standards, the company Hardys produces excellent wines, including the legendary varietal "Nottage Hill", "Eileen Hardy", "Stamp of Australia" and many others. Excellent quality wine is confirmed by numerous awards, of which 54 - gold.
In the period from 1976 to 1992, the company acquired several Hardys wineries in Australia, and in 2003 joined the group Constellation Brands, which allowed it to become the largest supplier of wines in the country. Today, the company annually sells more than 100 million bottles of noble drink in 80 countries.
