Gruner Feltliner Smaragd "Kolmyutts" - a great Austrian wine that is produced from grapes Gruner Feltliner grown on 40-year-old vines grown in the Wachau region. The vineyards are located on steep rocky terraces. Local terroir imparts a fruity wines, mineral character. Wine Gruner Veltliner Smaragd "Kollmutz" will be the perfect complement to a wide range of dishes.
Emerald - the traditional wine region Wachau. Called wine in honor of the emerald lizard, which is often found in local vineyards. These dry full-bodied wines made from well-ripened grapes, they are usually disclosed in 3-4 years, and the potential exposure of 10-12 years.
Rudi Pichler - family production. Many generations of the family Pichler in winemaking. The first mention of the main building of the winery refers to 1575, and in 1884 it passed into the possession of Pichler. In 1904, Johann Pichler also bought a small farm, which is passed down from generation to generation. In 2004, there were also built new cellars and a reorganization of production in compliance with all standards of quality.
Today, in the possession of the family is 12.5 hectares of vineyards. It is mostly grown varieties Grüner Feltliner (65%) and 30% Riesling and Pinot Blanc (5%). Of these varieties of wine produced on the classification of the Wachau wine Association (Federspiel, and Smaragd Shtaynfeder).
