Glen Grant distillery was built by brothers John and James, before they both were involved in smuggling whiskey and had a real experience of production - in the 30s worked on the distillery Dandaleith.
Today Glen Grant's best selling whiskey in Italy, traditionally prefer varieties with a small delay, also sold well in the European market and in Africa. Mainly used for aging barrels of bourbon and only occasionally sherry. Officially, the factory poured whiskey 5 and 10 years of aging. However, independent software vendors offered more mature whiskey, single copies of which date back to 1930 and earlier years.
