Tasting Notes
Wine rich cherry red color.
The taste of wine is light, fresh, pleasant, sweet, but not cloying, with berry tones, balanced acidity and berry aftertaste of medium length.
The aroma is pronounced shades of ripe berries: blueberries, black currants, as well as notes of prunes.
The wine goes well with grilled red meats, cheeses, salads and fruits.
Interesting Facts
"Khor Virap" - light, fresh red semi-sweet table wine with bright berry shades in taste and aroma. The wine is made from Areni grapes grown in Vayots Dzor region in southern Armenia. For the production of wine is used only whole, ripe, healthy grapes. After combing and crushing, the resulting waste is fermented in steel tanks at a temperature of 18-22 ° C. When the sugar concentration reaches 20-30 g / l, fermentation is stopped by cooling to -4 ° C.
