"Evharisto" White Semi-Sweet is a white semi-sweet wine made from traditional white grapes of Crete. Grapes are grown on clay-limestone soils of vineyards, which are influenced by the north-western sea winds. Crop is harvested when the berries reach the optimum level of sugar content. Wine production takes place in a classic white wine technology. Vinification takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Alexakis , a Greek wine-making company , is a family-owned business founded in the 1970s by an oenologist and chemical engineer Stelios Alexakis. The company is one of the largest wine producers in Crete. The company owns the largest private winery, which is equipped with modern equipment. The company cooperates with almost all grape growers on the island. The creation of wines is based on in-depth knowledge of the Cretan vineyards, many years of experience and the selection of the best terroirs. At each stage of production, a clear control of all processes is carried out. Wines of the company have already earned the love not only in their homeland, but also far beyond Greece.
