The wine is a deep garnet-purple.
Taste wine has refreshing acidity and strong fruity flavor, which emphasized the nuances of clove, cedar and hints of flowers.
Aromatic bouquet of wine reveals notes of crème de cassis, fresh warm compote of blackberries and blueberries, nuances of spices and flowers.

Elite wine "Ode to Lorraine", the first vintage of which was released in 1992, demonstrates the belief winemakers "Elderton" that due to blending of grapes from the best plots owned winery, you can get really wonderful, full of wine, showing the features of each of the three grades. Winemakers management believe that this wine - a jewel in the line of premium red wines.
First, the wine was called "Cabernet Sauvignon-Shiraz-Merlot", but in 2002 was renamed in honor of one of the founders of "Elderton" - Lorraine Eshmid.
Blend wine "Ode to Lorraine", combining three unmatched variety, can achieve the complexity and grandeur, making this wine a beautiful ode to Lorraine. Elderton winery - a small family farm in the Barossa Valley in South Australia. The first vines were planted here in the vineyards in 1894 by Samuel Eldertonom. In 1970, the family bought the estate Eshmid and world fame came to him after a few particularly successful vintages of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, recognized as one of the best Australian wines. At the moment, the winery is headed by brothers Cameron and Alistair, represents the second generation of the family Eshmid.
