Tasting Notes
Whiskey golden.
Taste whiskey fat, biscuit, well balanced, with hints of ginger and banana souffle sweets. The finish is long, with hints of farm butter and biscuits.
The sweet, but the flavor of the whiskey is dominated by the solid sheet of dried banana, coconut and butter toffee, which are complemented by nuances of spice and fresh banana.
Whisky is a fine digestif, goes well with coffee and cigar.

Benrinnes 18 Years Old, 1992 - single malt whiskey, distilled in January 1992 and the cask of sherry for 18 years, until December 2010. In whiskey production process and is colored caramel does not undergo cold filtration. Pouring whiskey in a series of "Old Malt Cask" Company undertook Douglas Laing.
A collection of "Old Malt Cask" is of the best spirits of different regions of Scotland. Initially Benrinnes Distillery was located in the southeast of a mile from the factory today. Built on Whitehouse Farm in 1826 by Peter McKenzie, the factory was completely destroyed after three years at the time of the flood. In 1835 Benrinnes Distillery built anew. Like other distilleries, Benrinnz draws its water from springs in the mountains and Rowantree Scurran Burns. After a devastating fire at the end of the XIX century the factory was rebuilt on the consumption of electricity. In 1984, the plant was decommissioned. Despite the long history, there is only one official bottling - in 1991. Today, single malt from Benrinnes - a rarity. Currently the plant is owned by Diageo.
Company Douglas Laing and Co, headed today brothers Fred and Stewart Laing, was founded by their father, Fred Douglas in 1948. Brothers successfully expanded the product range and entered the world market with great samples. The peculiarity of the company is a huge stock of different malts past 50 years. Douglas Laing and Co produces single malt whiskey and odnobochkovoy and blended.
