Interesting Facts
"Tessellae" Old Vines - delicious red wine made from a blend of three grape varieties - Syrah (40%), Grenache (40%) and Mourvèdre (20%). Matured wine for 12 months in concrete tanks, after which it was bottled without filtering. Label design for this wine selected is no accident, because in Latin "tessellae" - "Mosaic".

Producer's description
For six generations of family Lafage tilled vineyards in one of the oldest wine regions of France. In 1996, Jean-Marc Lafage decided to buy the estate, and later became the owner of the vineyard that belonged to his father. Since then, the company appeared Domaine Lafage, which owns an area of about 200 hectares, of which 138 are planted with vines. Vineyards stretch farm in the foothills of the Pyrenees in the south Roussillon, along the coast to the east of Perpignan and Mori, in the upper part of the valley uglies. Before his own company, Jean-Marc and his wife, Eliane, which also has a degree in wine marketing, enology and viticulture, worked and received invaluable experience in Australia, South Africa and Chile.
