Wine Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru, 2008 has a fresh, bright taste and pleasant aroma. The wine is made from Pinot Noir, grown in the area of Grand Cru Corton. The vineyard is located on the southeast side of a small slope that provides perfect grape maturation. Winter 2008 was relatively mild, spring and summer - very cool and rainy. Flowering kidneys was rapid, but later ripening lasted too long, so it was necessary to be very demanding in the selection and sorting of the grapes. Grapes picked manually separated from the ridges and fermented for 20 days in wooden vats with controlled access of oxygen and temperature, with a daily half-board wort agitation. After malolactic fermentation, the wine matures in new oak barrels for 17 months. "Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru" has wonderful aging potential, at which reveals absolutely wonderful, complex and multifaceted flavor and aroma of the wine.
