Before we enter the implementation, wine cellar holds in the company Diamandes at least 3 years. Wine is recommended to decant 3 hours before serving.

Producer's description

In 2005, the family of Bonnie France, which since 1996 owns the famous Chateau Malartic Lagraver and Chateau Gazen Rokinkourt decided to learn "new horizons" and moved to Argentina, to create high-quality wines with individual style. For his new project, Alfred-Alexandre Bonnie and his wife, Michelle, have acquired a piece of land in Argentina - in the heart of Uco Valley, south of the city of Mendoza. Thus arose the winery Diamandes whose name combines two words - "Diamante", which in Spanish means "diamond" and "Andes" - the Andes Mountains. The winery was a part of the well-known and authoritative group of Clos de los Siete - association of French winemakers by the famous enologist Michel Rolland.

Modern winery Diamandes possible integrated into a complex ecosystem of the environment. Its architectural design developed on a special project, harmoniously blended into the picturesque landscape of the Andes. Vineyards farms are located in one of the best wine regions of Argentina. The climate of the region - dry continental, with relatively low humidity. Day and night temperature differences contribute to the concentration of tannins in the berries essential for the production of high quality wines. The company cultivates mainly grape variety Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as small amounts of Chardonnay, Viognier, Merlot, Shiraz and Petit Verdot. A fabulous terroir, ideal climate, combined with the experience of farm owner Alfred-Alexander and his Argentine employees, led to the creation of intense, complex, balanced wine with elegant depth. The first wine was produced in 2007, it was followed by other vintages. Perseverance, dedication and love for his work brought a relatively young winery Diamandes fame and great success. Wine companies have already gained high rankings in reputable journals Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, and also received high grades from the wine critic Robert Parker.
