The wine is dark garnet color in a bright rim.
Powerful taste of wine with a smooth texture filled with layered tones of juicy ripe fruit, soft, silky tannins, sweet notes of mocha.
Bright aroma of the wine explodes abundance of dark tones of plum, black currant, licorice, thyme and cinnamon.
The wine goes well with rich dishes of red meat.
"Merlot, Gimblett Gravels Vineyard" consists of mixed with a small proportion of Cabernet Franc Merlot, carefully selected from 22 areas of the vineyard Grevels Gimblett, whose warm, gravelly soil is ideal for the production of Merlot. The wine is rich, fresh, ripe style, showing no overripe character, with lush, warm texture.
2006 was marked by a great warm weather. After harvesting, the grapes were desteblirovan. Fermentation was carried out in closed stainless steel tanks using grafted yeast, then the wine is aged in French oak barrels, of which 45% - the new, for 18 months. Wine storage capacity is at least 10 years.
