Cote Rotie has an area of 220 hectares, it is located on the banks of the Rhone and is a legend explaining its division into two parts - the "dark" and "light" slope (Côte Brune and Côte Blonde). According to legend, the local feudal lord - Signor de Mozhiron, gave the portions that were among the best of his land as a dowry for their daughters (blonde and brunette). Côte Blonde different sandy and calcareous soils, so the wines are softer and more fragrant, here is grown Syrah and Viognier. The situation is different with the Côte Brune, where the clay soil, darker, due to the presence of ferric oxide, the wine here is saturated and tannins, and a variety that best manifests itself, is Syrah.
Three generations of the family Kyuyerona Yves (Yves Cuilleron) produced wine from both the father and mother. They owned vineyards on prironskih terraces constructed by the Romans.

To be sure in the creation of unique wines Eve rejected all the ideas and refused to be copied by other manufacturers. From the outset, it tracks all stages of production - from planting grapes to bottling the wine in the bottle.
