The wine has a massive, full-bodied taste with high acidity and bright fruit notes. Powerful, impressive finish.
The wine has a scent with notes of lemon, lime, peach and honey on a background of strong mineral tones.
Wine is an excellent aperitif and is perfect with fish dishes, seafood, white meat and snacks.
Interesting Facts
Wine Clos d'Agon made on the Costa Brava (Catalonia), in an area famous for its wine-making traditions. Mediterranean climate with low rainfall in this region is compensated by the refreshing sea breeze. This is one of the most favorable places for growing grapes - wine here began producing about 350 years ago.
In 1998, one of the local stations was acquired by fellow winemakers Franz Wermuth, Frank Ebinger and Silvio Denz, who in 2002 began the reconstruction of the local wineries, fully completed in 2006. Following the principle of which is to ensure that the wine is made in the vineyard, not in cellars, winery owners pay great attention to the plants and their state. Wine Clos d'Agon repeatedly received high marks at the international level.
