Tasting Notes


The wine is a deep dark ruby ​​color.

Clos L'Eglise, 2008 - an excellent red wine from Merlot grapes. Grapes grown on clay soils with gravel content. Vineyard Clos L'Eglise is a 6 hectares in the north-western part of Pomerol on the typical clay-gravel deep soils rich in iron. Here are grown Merlot (60%) and Cabernet Franc (40%). The average age of the vines is 35 years, planting density - 7150 plants per hectare. Harvesting is done by hand. Wine-making is based on traditional methods.
