Tasting Notes
Wine dense blue-violet color.
Taste wine dense, rich and wonderfully rich, buttery, sweet soft tannins and low acidity, layered fruit tones, dominated by shades of sweet raspberries and plums, rich notes of spice nuances of chocolate and a long, lingering finish.
Wonderful aroma of the wine is filled with tones of charcoal, graphite, black raspberries and blueberries.
The wine is recommended to serve red meat, game and cheeses.

Clos Fourtet 2007 - a beautiful wine with dense, powerful, buttery taste amazing length with notes of sweet ripe fruit. Blend wine Clos Fourtet consists of three grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grown on the vineyard appellasona Saint Emilion Category 1-er Grand Cru. 2007 harvest was very low - only 36 hectoliters per hectare, but showed very concentrated varietal characteristics. Extract of wine for 12 months in oak barriques held, of which 80% - new. Wine storage capacity is 10-12 years.
Winery Clos Furth, located in Saint-Emilion, until 2001, belonged to a prominent family Lurton. Then it was bought by the Parisian businessman Philip Kyuvele, who is also the owner of Château Puzho in Moulis-en-Medoc and Château Léoville Poyferre in Saint-Julien. 25-year-old vineyards with a total area of 25 hectares, grown on clay-limestone soils give great wines. Thanks vinification methods used in farming, produce high-quality wines: green harvesting harvest, fermentation in stainless steel tanks, malolactic fermentation in barriques, aging in new barrels.
